Exploring
One of your challenges is to find an experienced design team with simulation tools, imaging and modelling expertise to quickly set a realistic physical product design direction that is compelling and producible. Our role is to provide visual solutions that simplify and clearly explain the key features of your new product. It starts with sketches and sometimes an image is all that is needed, other times a representative model or full size print will work. Working closely with you, we build exactly what you want.
Presenting Your Concept
Step one is to minimize the paperwork, jump into the lab and onto the computer for layouts to figure out and demonstrate the unique elements of a new concept. From this we will photo render, model and prototype whatever is needed to get people excited about the benefits of your new product. Our support materials and costing information help with Investor presentations and trade shows to enhance credibility.
Intellectual Property
You own the intellectual property. We actively look for unique patentable elements of your product design. We submit descriptions and work with patent agents to ensure a strong and defendable utility patent is written. In some cases it is a trademark or Design patent that is required. The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program requires detailed descriptions of the development work which we write for clients.
Getting Your First Product Out
From finding unique components or locating suppliers our team will support the creation of your new organization. We can recommend part numbering systems, engineering change order management, testing and approval labs to contact. If you need us to coordinate these activities we do so as required.
Growing your Business
Our team comes and goes as you need us to. Change is expected with a start-up company and if objectives are reset we can be shut-off and re-directed overnight. As your organization grows you may want to move to an internal team. We can help make sure that all documentation and process transition happens as seamlessly as possible.
