Innovation is a strategic advantage and Eastern Ontario has a wealth of Innovation. The recent Donald Trump presentations at the Eastern Ontario Economic Showcase echoed this message.

Design 1st has entered a Canada wide Intel design competition to share what it is we do that differentiates us. Winners of the competition receive a $10,000 prize. Design 1st would like win and donate the proceeds to one of several non-profit groups in the Eastern Ontario Region that support innovation. We are open to suggestions about where the donation could go. Local options could be the Ottawa Center for Research and Innovation (OCRI) or the Ontario Centers of Excellence (OCE). Another option could be to provide the amount in complimentary design services to an organization that is developing an innovative product for the betterment of our society or community.
