Tools of the Trade:
Product development requires the use of state-of-the-art CAD tools. We use Solidworks and proEngineer) to create and refine designs in a three dimensional assembly model. All of the physical components of your product are captured and rendered. Our product development team also works closely with software and hardware engineering firms, allowing us to serve a wide range of product devlopment needs ranging from specific tasks such as optical path analysis, fluid behavior, to user interaction designs. Working with Electronic Product Development we facilitate designing circuit component layouts, thermal acceptability checks and circuit board prototyping.
Prototypes:
From the manufacturing of parts to the finished prototype assemblies, Design 1st's product development team can save you valuable time and substantial costs by allowing you assess and test final designs before investing in expensive production tooling, drawing revisions, plastic and metal part tool building, testing, compliance and pre-production.
